A handsome young peasant, Coi, was madly in love with a wealthy landowner's daughter. After requesting her hand in marriage, space the landowner sent him on an impossible mission to find a hundred-knot bamboo tree, saying only then could he marry her. The landowner believed this was an impossible task and would ward off the peasant suitor. Not giving up hope, Coi set out on his mission. On his journey he met a traditional herbalist of wisdom and ancient powers who helped him manifest the hundred-knot tree. When Coi returned home with a branch of this tree, the landowner had no choice but to grant him his wish. Anything is possible if you follow your dreams.
